An Inspiring AI Roundtable

On Tuesday 21 January, 13 Heads of AI from some of the Netherlands’ most prominent companies gathered at the beautiful Hotel Karel V in Utrecht. The goal? To speak openly, share best practices and learn from one another in an environment built on trust and transparency.

Two worlds, one insight

The session centred around a case study featuring two radically different companies: one a pure tech player, the other a firmly physical organisation. Culturally and in terms of AI implementation, they couldn’t be further apart – and it was exactly this contrast that sparked the most valuable insights. Participants were unanimously enthusiastic about how these differences inspired them.

Connecting and looking ahead

After the session, many attendees stayed on for drinks, leading to deeper conversations and new connections. Several practical ideas and collaborative plans were shared on the spot.

A recurring tradition

The group agreed on one thing: this should become a regular occurrence. The plan?

🔹 Stay connected through a dedicated WhatsApp group between sessions

The next session is already in the works, with the theme: “How to prevent bias in test data”, featuring insights from two new organisations.

 Proud of the AI community

The demand for these exclusive sessions is growing. A second group will kick off on 3 September with a fresh mix of Heads of AI from top-tier Dutch companies, and a third Dutch-speaking group for SMEs is already in development.
